Introducing the Tooting & Mitcham Community Sports Club & Academy Scholarship Team

Jackie Watkins

T&M Community Sports Club CEO

My role is to oversee the structures and strategic planning of the site, and do the washing up! Like most parents my life changed direction when my son arrived and wanted to play football.

A friend suggested he try for Tooting and Mitcham and the rest they say is history

After 25 years in the Film and Entertainment sector I began a new career in sport. There is a synergy between the 2 fields, deserve to achieve, self-improvement, ensemble working and being part of a community with the same ambitions and interests. Helping to develop the structures and seeing the site evolve into a safe and secure environment, although challenging, has been extremely  rewarding. We will have achieved our goals when the site is sustainable and embedded in the community for the prosperity.  I have been fortunate to have experienced both professions and met some inspiring and fascinating people. There are never enough hours in a day to complete all that is required but will always strive to be the best and innovative in what we do.

Emily Bennet

Director of Operations

Overseeing the operation of the club focusing on financial and strategic development of the site. I've been at the club for 10 years and in my spare time I enjoy cake decorating and making custom nail sets. Not a football enthusiast previously, but from working at the club I have been converted to the non-league world and support Tooting Bec FC.

Ashley Bosah

Director of Football

I oversee the football development plan within the football structure here at the imperial fields and also have a hand in the community development work with a key interest in enhancing contributing factors to social mobility. I've been at the club for 10 years and in my spare time I enjoy working out, socialising and I'm an avid football fan!

Tony Hart

U18s Coach & Football Administrator

I am the football club secretary, taking care of administration from the Youth teams all the way to the first team. I also coach the academy scholars during their practical sessions and accompany them to games.

As a former Tooting & Mitcham Scholar I have been involved with the club for many years. I also manage Bagshot FC in my spare time but I also used to play in the team finishing as a player manager before managing the team full time.

Daniel Yankah

Academy Manager / U21 Manager and Mentor

My main focus is ensuring our Academy educational scholarship programme is running smoothly on and off the pitch.

I have been at the club for 6 years now. My role at TMUFC is something I invest a significant amount of time in which also allows me to fulfil what I believe to be my purpose. Aside from the club I have a partner and daughter who I try to ensure I prioritise, although they may feel different! I grew up in East London and enjoy the highs and lows of supporting West Ham! My favourite West Ham player would probably have to be Paolo Di Canio but Zinedine Zidane would have to be my all time favourite.

My nickname is Dan The Man!

Kelly Kennedy

Lead Educational Tutor

I teach the BTEC programme to our academy scholars ensuring they achieve a good final end grade and progress into the most appropriate pathway for their future educational development and career. I was formally at Millwall Football Club, where I also worked in social inclusion and the education department. I have been at T&M for 4 years.

In my spare time I also work as a personal trainer and class instructor, and chauffeur to my two youngest children!
